February Prima Product pick and Palette and Prima BAP

PPP February2012
Here is the Prima Product and Palette Pick for February. I knew I just had to scrap these photos of Andrew and Kaitlyn at the Princess and Knight Ball.  I was lucky enough to buy a whole lot of the new Prima releases two weeks ago .I coloured the flowers from the Meadowlark Papers (available from Scottie Crafts today!) with a distress nib and distress inks and a water pen.

And a close up.

The Prima BAP was just perfect for my photo of Christopher.  I used the new En Francias Collection and the awesome new wooden embellishments from Prima - love love the clocks!

Multi Media fun!!!!

Last week I was talking to Wendy about Anna Dabrowska an amazing artist and discovered that we were both wanting to create projects using her techniques - Wendy had already done hers and encouraged me to finally have a go - I have been wanting to for nearly a year and so I got home from work  and created and got MESSY!!!!...and had HEAPS OF FUN.  Will definitely have another few or more attempts at doing similiar projects.

Here is my layout inspired by Anna Dabroswka filled with Prima trinkets, lace, bling, flowers, antique mirrors (which I heated and manipulated), Vintaj metal pieces embossed using Vintaj embossing plates , Tim Holtz Ideology and lots of other treasures. The messy stuff is colour washes, gesso and texture paste through a Prima Mask. I have also done random punching and stamping other techniques done by Anna. I don't think it is going to fit in an album :).

Remember 21 Jumpstreet?

As a young teen I used watch 21 Jumpstreet and had a crush on Johnny Depp way back then. He still is one of my favourite actors and so talented ...one of my favourites is Captain Jack Sparrow.

Over at Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge the challenge is as follows:

Just in time for Valentine’s Day this month – your first love – a real boy or girl, try to include a  momento from that time with them, or download an image or something from that era from the internet if you wish. A pop or movie star crush can be substituted for a real live crush if you are too shy to tell us how it really was!!!

There was NO WAY I was going to do a layout with my real life crush so I went with Johnny as Detective Tom Hanson in 21 Jumpstreet. The layout is pretty basic for me but I think its suits the theme.
He still is one of my favourite actors and so talented ...one of my favourites is Captain Jack Sparrow.

This is my last layout as a Design team member over at Another Freaking scrappy Challenge.  Thank you so much Anne for selecting me and having great challenges. Thanks to the other members of the DT for all your inspiration!!
