Mass Creativity

Well I might have not done a lot of layouts yet this year but I have been busy creating. Between Christmas and New Year I created this birthday book as a gift using mainly Websters products (I had a go at getting on the design team but there are such big names out there it was extreme wishful thinking!).

Then over the last few weeks I had an opportunity to tidy up my scraps drawer and to use up those colours of cardstock that I bought and will never use.  I decided to create some 6X6 layouts for this and got a bit carried away and did 122! Christopher has now found a new love of this size scrapping which would be more affordable and space saver for him. My scrap drawer still has lots in it but at least it is tidier - slowly organising my scrap area. Here are the layouts that I need to send to Trina for the Wellington camp or next years even.

Scottie Crafts Inspiration - Graphic 45

After making my 7 Gypsies tray I still had a bit of the Graphic 45 Springtime paper
so I created my second layout for the year (bit of a slow start!).

Kaitlyn was not impressed about me taking these photos as I interrupted her
jumping in a puddle to stand next to an old stone building!
I have used my cricut and the paper lace cartridge to cut out the shaped layout and
the lace paper background - I think this cartridge is going to be well used.  I have added Prima flowers
and Prima chipboard Journal spots.

My first layout for 2011 - Prima BAP for January

Yes Prima only posted the BAP today but I just had to do my first layout for 2011 and finally use the Jack and Jill range for this photo which I have been planning to do for a while. I have not used my cricut on it but Christopher did have a go (see previous post)

Creativity by Christopher!

Christopher (almost 8) is fascinated by my new cricut from Scottie crafts so I cut him out some items mainly from the Wrap it Up cartridge and gave them to him.

This is what he came up with pretty cool !
