NZ DARE no 39

The dare was to do 10 or more photos on a layout either single or double.  I have done a double for when CJ road a horse for the first time.  The longest thing to do on this layout was the eyelets!
Paper used was steves pages by Sugar tree and AMM herbanella range

MEEK SPIN OFF - KELLYS CHALLENGE

Kelly over at Scrapbooking by design set a challenge to create  a 12x6 either using the sketches she provided or your own.  I have only ever done one layout this size but now have done another four that can be easily converted to my 12x12 albums.  This size is so quick to do a layout.  These were done in just over an hour and show my oldest son's progress to get home after being born eight weeks early over seven years ago.

Scrapbox NZ monthly sketch challenge.

I have been busy as you can see from the last few posts. I really wanted to use some of the goodies from my new paper pesto kit so used them for this challenge.  You don't have to just do Love layouts with this kit its very versatile.
I will upload some 12X6 layouts tomorrow that I did tonight -they are so quick to do (I did four!).  I did them for a challenge that Kelly set up as a spin off for Moniques recycle challenges she set up for the weekend over at Scrapbooking By design.  I don't know if I will have the time to do the others but I have set one up myself. Go check it out via my link on the right and you could get a RAK from me.

Scrapbooking By Design Layout Challenge February

The challenge over at Scrapbooking by design is to use doodling in your layout.  I have doodled around embellishments and doodled the journalling.  Nice and bright layout!!

Scrapbooking by Design sketch Challenge February

I have been tricky by doing a double layout and using each half for a different challenge.  This is my take  for Scrapbooking by Design's February sketch.  Same papers and elements used in previous post challenge.

123 Challenge February

Who was 3 in 2006? CJ of course!

The criteria this month for the 123 challenge was to use a transparency, have numbers in your title and have strip journalling.  I have used a  hambly studios grid transparency cut up. This is half a double layout the other half is in the next post for another challenge.

Jack me Up February Jack Lianne Gray

Here is my take on the jack. I have used basic grey and Kaisercraft paper with the background being basic greys two scoops paper. I have used various stickers from MM, provocraft and pebbles inc. Rubons are fancy pants. All paper used is from scraps other then background so this is a way you can use scraps.

Free spirit kit - scenic route alphas and MM mini alphas as well as the versacube inkpad
On the periphery kit - Basic grey Chipboard letters
Merry and bright kit - Half a Jenny Bowlin journalling tag
Formal affair kit - white pen
Painted summer kit - Scenic route word rub ons

Items that are not in kits are the Wild asparagus frame and gold eyelets

Scrap therapy scrapping with the stars part 10

Here is my take on part 10 the star is Jolene Pienaar  and was to do a multi photo girl  layout with bling flowers etc.  I had a lot of fun with this.  I did a lot of preplanning with this one by going through my goodies and then doing the layout rather then getting the bits and pieces as I am doing the layout.  The layout itself took less then a hour and a half including painting the chipboard.   One of my favorites now.

NZ Dare no 40 Valentines Card

Here is my take for NZ Dare 40 - it was to do a valentines card with a photo on it.  I have used a photo I had that had swans on it and have weaved a heart with cardstock and basic grey blush paper.
